I think so too :) but you never know, there might be a better offer round the corner. Its limited to 5k, also car is at £4k and agreed value. Car does not need to be garaged, does not need to be a second car, £100 excess, legal protection, windscreen cover £60 excess, parade day cover for spar next year. I can drive other cars 3rd party, organised car club track days are covered for £75, excess in the event of a crash would be 10% of cars insured amount, so £1k but no one else driving will be covered. Does not cover ICE, i will have to look at insuring that through someone else.
Try looking in the yellow pages for small independent local brokers, they can sometimes come up trumps.
Another source I have found is specialist magazines, Max Power or similar carry ads for companys that specialise in modified cars, young drivers etc.
The internet is a wonderful tool but doesnt, I find always have all the answers.
My Alfas are both insured through Adrian Flux but all of our company vehicles are still done by a little local insurance broker who works out of a little office over a shop in the High street, who doesnt have a website so I call him or pop in and see him,its all very quaint but I just think its nice to talk to someone face to face once in a while.

Try lancasterinsurance.co.uk
Really cheap for my car this year with limited miles. Don't know about mods, but worth a try. I don't think I got protected NCB, but they put my full ncb on indefinite hold. I think as the premium was only about £120 i decided to take the risk on protected ncb.
If you're going to try a comparison site use

MODIFIED CAR INSURERS
Can you guys post up your insurance companies incase i miss any.
I am looking for someone that will take me with 1 car, limited mileage of 5k full protected no claims and with my mods.
I find it hard to find all these, most want a second car, most wont do because of my mods.
eg, with mods over £600, without mods just over £300
Thanks
