Turbo is from Mitsubishi Eclipse i think.
It was dismounted in a hurry Very Happy

It's a T25 and is good for around 220-230HP, well i'm going on low boost setup for start.
Around 0.4 bar should do for some 170-180hp without changing any of the internals. It will run with megasquirt.

Injectors, intercooler, oilcooler, fuel pump and some other stuff will be from alfa 155 q4.

What do you think about this mod? It's made in paint (photoshop is just not my thing, i prefer my welder and angle grinder Laughing )

Hi,

keep us posted with your turbo installation.

What was the turbo stolen from? It looks like it was removed in a big hurry, and literally cut off the car Wink

Well i will continue with modifications to the car, and post some pictures here too.

For start this will tell enough Twisted Evil

Lol, nice! Weird seeing a 33 move like that though, more used to seeing them with their front wheels spinning or understeering.

There are cars where I like soft turbos and superchargers but you have to be sure that they are not taking more power from engine then engine is getting. If tuned well it could give you torque in low and mid range where it is needed most.
As far as engine mods is concernerned I don't know usualy there is something that will get shorter lifetime but question is will you notice it.
ie fwd 16v clutch plate and disc usualy needs change from 100-200k km (wide I know Smile, while on P4 it is around 50-75% of that lifetime.
Realibility looking at whole engine + charger sorry nothing from it more parts more points of failure easy as that, but it could help get rid of some small glitches and bugs on engine.

just to tell you, i found a problem with my throttle bodies leaking water - i will sort it out tomorrow plus

what do you think about fitting a mini - supercharger, i`ve been told i dont have to do any mods to the engine as long as the supercharger doesnt operate over 6 or 7 psi and they can actually aid reliability.

I'm from Split in Croatia, but 2-3 times a year I go to Trieste/Udine/Venezia car scrap yards looking for some 33 parts, across Rijeka and lower part of Slovenia.
Yes I'm waiting for you to tune MegaSquirt but I wouldn't start with MS before Neno finishes it because my P4 has also some electric gremlins which I need tot ake care of before. I'm glad you sorted out most of problems.

Sorry for mixing you with Alanq4 but whenever I talk with Boris, Neno or Dare you two are comming in same package so I allways mix you two Smile

No problem. I didn't know that you're in contact with Dare and Neno. Where are you from ?

Then it's up to me i guess. You're waiting for Neno and Neno is waiting for me Smile I have MS in my car for almost a year now and i've managed to sort out almost all problems (problems with my car, not MS (unstable fuel pressure, unstable alternator voltage, ...)) which manifested in not being able to tune properly. I'll probably go on a dyno to tune somewhere in the near future.

Hi David,
Welcome to the forum and thanks for corecting mixup I made.
I was under impression that Alanq4 was doing same to 16v engine as you are. Stedee was looking ways to improve his 33 (calibra injectors...) so thats why I put that link there.

And he is still playing with configuring megajolt settings.

Here are few of his RWD movies from youtube

If you search for alanq4 you'll fine few more earlier movies of him drifting on FWD .

This first link you provided is from MegaSquirt (not megajolt) ECU install/setup from my car (which is still FWD and will stay FWD).

Guy who did RWD conversion is Alanq4 (a friend of mine), not me.

If you're interested in something regarding my or Alanq4 project just ask. Alan is also reading this forum...
