Look at it this way. If he was in any way proud to be the owner you'd think he'd get out and stand in front of it... Very Happy

Id forgotten all about this car (the hyundi that is) until yesterday when I went to our local Argos and pulled into a space right next to it, and there at eye level was the word Pininfarina.
It was a silver one with privacy glass all round.
I walked slowly around it trying to see if it had any nice lines or angles on it, there are a couple but they are cancelled out by the rest of it being pig ugly.
Anyway as I came around to the front I stepped back a little and stood there shaking my head, thats when I noticed the driver (a rather large gentleman) sitting there giving me evils. Evil or Very Mad
Discretion being the better part of valour I hastily got back into my own beautifully Pininfarina penned spider and left.

Now what was it I went to argos for???? Rolling Eyes

I didn't see the Lancia Gamma coupé in their list of models which reached production http://www.pininfarina.com/index/storiaModelli/modelli.html?modelli.php?sl=0&cmp=anno&ord=desc&ids=ou4flg80j2d9lv2eb9076ddt94 but then neither is the Austin A40 or Hyundai Matrix. The Daewoo Nubira does get a mention however! Smile

2500cc.

I doubt anyone would bother, you can get that output from a 33 1.7 with a few mods. A lot less spend than a build on one of them too.

No let's not forget the hits - Peugeot 404 coupé/cabriolet, Peugeot 406 coupé are two I can think of.

Indeed, and I also have a place for the Lancia Gamma coupe.

BTW has anyone put that engine in a 33 yet? 2.3 or 2.5 was it?

I don't know who designed it, but the Skoda Roomster must rank highly on ugly car Top ten.

Cmon people don't be so nasty take a look at how that car brand looked before P badge. It was advancement of 10years in design.
There are fridges, electric stoves....of corse not all was done by P Man himself but by his studio workers, aprentices maybe some of it in high fever or even drunk.
We shouldn't talk bad about dead people. Embarassed

And conversely, if your styling budget is limited, you get the Matrix.

Hi,

As we all know Pininfarina has penned some lovely italian creations including the 33 sportwagon and the Fiat Coupe et al.

Imagine the shock i got yesterday when i saw a Pininfarina signature on the rear wing of on of these pieces of sh*t Shocked

It's a really nasty Hyundai Matrix.
