picked up 16v engine now for the car ,sitting im my brothers workshop and thanks to alex i will have another 33 soon with all the bits i need for mine along with some spares Very Happy .
so should hopefully have it up and running soon then for some bodywork and then all sorted.

Its looking great. Real inspirational stuff for my S2.

By the way is that a black S2 hatch in one of your old pics? Mines black and I need a decent hatch, is it for sale? Doors would be good as well Very Happy

im going to go for 8v as they are a lot easier to work on and i prefer the way the 8v engine pulls compared to the 16v .
plus i may be getting a class f race engine soon as well Very Happy

i have at long last sourced a 1.7 engine which i will pick up soon and a petrol tank Very Happy .
i want this 33 to look as nice as i can and hopefully it wont be too much longer to put it on the road,cannot wait for that first time i take her out. Smile

i have some white compomotive wheels coming soon as well ,getting them for a good price as they need a repaint so will have to see what they look like on the car otherwise it will be decide what colour to paint them. Question

here are some pics from being at my garage today .
bolted on bumper and fitted dash clocks ,have got some side skirts now as well in red but will get them repainted .
i have another 33 coming soon with all the parts i need for my car Very Happy in red as well but the owner said the shell was really good so may keep the rest of the car to make another project as well.
p.s the last pic is the true colour of the car as used a crap phone camera it is red honest.

the filler cap has rusted round it and the boot floor has rust bubbles on it so would need doing also but it is too far gone and only worth spares now because i dont think the bootlid slam panel would be a easy repair .

here is my spares car coming soon as you can see from the pics it is pretty rusty if it was savable i would not break it as sportswagons are getting rare now ,i think it it too far gone.

i will get some soon but first got to get my g reg 1.7 8v sportwagon this way and it is too far gone to put back on road which is a shame so will be used as spares.
