All very true Iain, thats why i am only keeping it for a few months to enjoy it while i do some work to my 155, i got it very very cheap so it's puely a money spinner. Very Happy It has 11 months MOT & many of the common faults have recently been attended to.

Worn bushes, cam belt variator, lambda sensors...........need I go on. Thats the reason I didn't want one they are excessively expensive to keep running.

Doh! Paul if you need to replace the bearings you didn't need the nuts as the kits come with them and the kits are cheaper Sad

Congrats on the MOT guys, always a nice feeling after it's passed

My red TI just passed last week with a split CV gaitor replaced. Advisory on both rear wheel bearings, which definitely do need replacing.

Nice one John. Mine passed 2 weeks ago....no advisories! Was expecting at least some on a near 18 year old.

Hi,

The 33 just passed another MOT which will see it into it's 10th year of ownership for me in April, unless anything unforseen happens or I get an offer like Alex's Laughing

Only recommends were condensation in one headlight- didn't have time to hairdryer it out, and as always slight play in both rear wheel bearings- grrr- they never seem to understand taper rollers need slight play!

I had been worried about a front floor bung- please see post in 33 workshop.

John Very Happy Very Happy
