Mine is series 2 so it looks as though the repair is viable, thanks.

Hi mate, did mine about 6 months ago and it turned out great, but I ordered a panel from a German site and it turned out to be a series 2 panel with a steeper ridge at the top, so I had to cut it down as it didn't match the ridge on the series3. Just thought is give you a heads up so you don't have the same problem.

Hi all, I've had my 33 for 18 years now although it is sorned at the moment. I really must get round to sorting out the nearside rear wing; usual problem with filler cap surround rusting. I need to get a panel (hens' teeth) or get someone more skilled than I with sheet metal to deal with it. So if anyone can assist I'd be very grateful. The rest of it was in good condition when it was laid up. Leather interior plus loads done over the years (mostly by me) including complete engine rebuild when I managed to break the crankshaft.
