Alex, I will probably be having a serious chat with you sometime about this. There is no way I'm going to get to do this with two young rug rats about so would be looking into costs of getting the underside repaired. There is more to do up top....new wings and door repairs but can do this myself to keep the cost down. If you are down anytime and have a spare hour it'd be good to have a chat about it. I'm in no rush whatsoever so if it's a job these lads could do in their spare time that's good by me. I really need to get the tarp off and see what's left of the car I covered up........shut it Marshy Laughing

I think John is starting work on his 33 soon. Shocked

He's turning it into an amphibious car/pirate ship for his Somali friends.

Don't let them stay too long mate, the ones in John Tolleys car have been there so long they're claiming squatters rights

it's not coming on at all Alex. Bloody Somalians have squatters rights.

Still want to get it back on the road though, I owe it to the car.

Good to hear that John Cunningham has booked his red series 3 in with these guys for the winter for a full re-spray, also in a few weeks they will be painting the roof of a grey 75 (when it eventually comes out of EMC Racing after having a monstous engine fitted). So if anyone needs work of any kind, give these guys a shout. Very Happy

A big shout out to Alan & Mark for their work on various cars lately, they painted Lorraines red series 3 a few years ago, they did some amazing welding/fabricating on my sportwagon and they have just finished a full top to bottom job on Nnamdi's grey series 3. This was a major job as i'm sure a lot of you noticed when Nnamdi brought it to Duxford, (Alan & Mark even showed up to make sure it was looking clean! dedication for you.)
