If you're talking about valve clearance then there shouldn't be any with the hydraulic tappets, they should take it up.

Hi Ken, sounds similar to the solution I arrived at. Instead of the longer bolts I made shouldered nuts to go through the brace and pick up the remaining thread on the existing bolts.

The 1.7 heads have a bigger inlet and slightly bigger ports and chamber. if it already has solid lifter cams then I don't see any reason why not.

Now there I disagree, I think shimming for a touch of neg on the rear could be beneficial. Certainly if I was tracking the car I would go that way.

Mark Ash in Auck has a full set of trim from a P4 including the front Recaros which are primo. Not cheap though.
