Had my steering rack reconditioned a few years back. The workshop I took it to was ultra clean and they pressure tested it after new seals fitted. Works a treat, so it can be done successfully.

Now use a holden twinturbo v8, 800 - 100 bhp!!!

I only know of one that had turbos added (post production). Unfortunately it came to an untimely end a few years back at Eastern Creek.

why didnt they make a 33 turbo

Alfa Romeo did make a turbo 33, it had a 1.8L motor. However it only had 3 cylinders and was a diesel Surprised . Oh and it produced a whopping 62kw Crying or Very sad

Bo666er,

You have proven that even though you were 33less you still were around here. So I would not be dismissing Stedee just yet.

My 16V has the metal twist off type, no problems.
