Problem sorted. Rang Eurocarb (UK distributor for Dellorto) and they have put one in the post. Apparently they no longer supply left and right hand parts, there is just a common one. The difference be ...

Just been fiddling with the engine and have broken the fuel pipe connector on the carburetor! Was trying to replace the fuel pipe between the 2 carbs. Does anyone have a spare one? I see from the work ...

Seems a bit of an overkill. I have a Clan Clover with the Sud engine mid mounted. The original cars used the Alfa upright and hub carrier with a lower link. Problem is that it doesn't hold the rear sq ...

I had a similar problem with my starter motor but when I stripped it down I found that the commutator of the motor (i.e. the part of the rotor assembly on which the brushes bear on to) needed overhaul ...

I saw such a conversion in a Hillman Imp. He had also chopped the roof off. Think the engine was an 8 valve. But as suggested make it mid mounted; that's how it is in my Clan Clover (and you get a fiv ...

If you do get the box rebuilt then it is worth getting some special transaxle oil to put in it. There are a few posts on this subject, suggest you search the archives.

Buy 2 one for each bank so you can tune both carbs together! I used to have a car with a single 40, adjusting one choke had an effect on the other so it made adjusting the carb easy.
