Sampled the 99 Ron fuel today, and it certainly makes the car run much smoother!!
at 92.9 pence per litre, its a bit pricey to use everyday tho! |

| Does your ECU remap mean your car requires higher octane petrol? |

I'm actually using 95ron due to lowered CR. Isn't the higher octane for applications that require more cooling, say like higher CR?

My car definately feels smoother on the 99 ron. Doubt the re-map requires it tho....
Am I wasting my money? |

Hi Matt,
I know a lot of turbocharged cars have to run on "super" petrol when you have a chip fitted, so it may be the same for yours.
But then you never know if extra power is actually chip or just petrol,
