Sampled the 99 Ron fuel today, and it certainly makes the car run much smoother!!
at 92.9 pence per litre, its a bit pricey to use everyday tho! |

Does your ECU remap mean your car requires higher octane petrol? |

I'm actually using 95ron due to lowered CR. Isn't the higher octane for applications that require more cooling, say like higher CR? _________________ Each time I speed I say, "Dear lord, make me fast and accurate..." |

My car definately feels smoother on the 99 ron. Doubt the re-map requires it tho....

Hi Matt,
I know a lot of turbocharged cars have to run on "super" petrol when you have a chip fitted, so it may be the same for yours.
But then you never know if extra power is actually chip or just petrol,
