Hi, I know that this has probably been covered before, but has anyone done this conversion on a sprint 16v or 33 road car?

What I need to know for sure is what size jets etc for the twin 40 idf weber carbs from 8v 1.7 engine, ive put on a standard 137 16vengine , chokes are 36. ticks over ok, it sounds glorious. Would be greatly apppreaciated if someone could let me know, ive tried the maintenance section but i thought one of you lot must have done this for fast road or even racing.. Cheers lee Rolling Eyes

Hi guys,

Any idea on power for this set up as it looks soooo much easier that after market engine management? I may be worth giving up a few bhp for the simplicity of carbs - but I don't want to loose too much in the process.

Any power and torque figures would be good.

Edward.
