The engine just seem to go a bit less crisp and the exhaust note a bit 'farty' in the range 2400 to 2800.
I don't believe I ahev any exhaust leaks (especially as it passed an MoT on Saturday).
Any thoughts anyone. _________________ '93 Black 33 1.7 16v |

Was it just when cold or all the time?
I think a lot of us suffer from flat spots at this time of year. I've had one on mine since I had it (6 years) and have never got to the bottom of it. |

Hi,
The only thing to do is to keep the revs well in excess of 3,000rpm
A duff lambda can cause flatspots around that range, but more likely to be a really awfull stammer.
Take it you got the steering rack sorted ok for the MOT then?
Cheers,

Hello everyone,
John what kind of fuel are you using? If for any reason you are using 98RON please use 95RON or at least use fuel from another gas station just in case is the fuel at fault!
Also I do have a question to all of you. Can the Lamda probe get a diy cleaning?
Thanks in advance _________________ 1994 Alfa 33 1.5 IE Cat. 220.000Kms and still going strong!!! (Από την Αθήνα και τώρα στην Λευκωσία) |
