Hi alfistas,

I've made a few posts but not introduced myself officially on this forum.

Been living down here for 5 years now. Apart from my new 7 week old baby I'm an owner of a 33 baby!

I have a beautiful 1988 33 1.7 QV (Dellorto 40 carb).

It is in factory condition.
New black leather seats with the 4 leaf clover embroided on the back seats and the alfa romeo emblem on the headrests.

K&N panel filter, Magnecor 8.5mm comp cables.

I had a new AC system installed last year (kind of regretting it now as its pathetic, takes up room under the bonnet, and adds weight, also importantly takes up my alfa horsepower when switched on).

Removed the plastic rain guards as IMHO makes the car look tacky.

Cheers

They look like reupholstered series 3 16V seats to me. Nice workmanship in recovering them if so.

All the best

Keith

Series 3 but 8v.

I'd prefer the Recaro seats but the 33 came with these reupholstered seats. They are a bit too soft.

Maybe one day I'll try to change them for the Recaro. Although the details are very nice. Shame they weren't the recaros.

Your car is gorgeous brit01!

Reminds me of a black clover s2 my bro had about 15 years ago, although his wasn't anywhere near as clean, even back then.

What do you mean by rain guards- not the front window cowlings??- They need to stay on for alfa character Very Happy

John

thxs mate.

Actually the rainguards (yes those transparent cowlings) got broken and after I thought it looked better without them.

Also a shame about the clearcoat. They did a bad job, very thin i think, and its deteriorated somewhat. Would like to get it re-clearcoated as the paint is in perfect condition still.
