I did mine with barbecue paint, B&Q do it.

Two years later and they seem fine.

The interior looks very tidy
Dont you find the plastics used in the 33 are of very cheap quality and scratch so easy?
Iv had every plastic part inside(all dash, door handles etc) stitched over in Alcantara to stop this- bloody expensive solution though

I do agree, your interior sounds interesting, can you post some pictures of it on here? it's something ive considered but unsure what it would actually look like.

It would of taken a million years for me to sus out how to post lol.

The colour may not be to everyones taste but the end result is absolutly amazing.
It depends on how good your upholsterer is.
Mine was great- only problem was the door handle which he sorted- the pic taken is before he did that.

On a different note my car is Silver but im getting it fully resprayed including engine bay.
Any suggestions what would be a good colour choice.
At present im pretty intent on Alfa Rosso Red(130)-seems obvious choice.
What are your views on Yellow- or would it stand out tooooooooooo much lol

I'm very impressed with this, well done that man. The gear knob isn't my taste but everything else is suberb. It's given me ideas for my sportwagon, been thinking about getting the center console & door cards done in matching grey alcantara. Cool

I think silver with red is a good contrast, if you get the car done red too it might be over powering. Yellow is a brave way to go, i saw a blue 33 a while ago and that looked awesome. Maybe re-doing it silver is the way to go, i think i would.

33's are fetching half decent money it would seem guys, Paul knows of a sportwagon that just sold for over £3000, a series 2 changed hands in Nottingham for £1800, there is a nice s2 on ebay for £1500 & i think Nikki Perry is selling her champagne 16v sw & she is asking £2500 + for it. All good to know. It seems to be the really good 33's are fetching high prices while the "runners" are struggling to reach more than £600.
(i still have a grey 16v and a white ie for sale, £1150 buys them both.) Very Happy

Today i was offered a straight swap for my sw, no money changing hands, car for car. The guy was VERY surprised when i said "you must be joking!".
I will buy a pint to the person who correctly guesses the car he had...
