Thanks!

I never liked the series 2 until i bought this one...

I love the 33, it's the one car i really love to drive, and i've owned a 156 1.6 TS Sport and recently an 147 1.6 TS Plus...

Of course the 156 e 147 are much better cars, with huge grip and handling, and tons of confort, but the 33 has some other things that just steal my heart...

And the Imola is much nicer in trips, but the 1.7 QV...

The 1.7 QV is more "man like"...

Stronger voice, rough design...

It feels like you have to be always pushing the acelerator, and when you do, seems like hell is coming on earth!!!

Even when she's just parked i find my self admiring her every corner...

It's my Kittens...

Hi Pedro
That really is a nice pair of 33's you have and nicely photographed too.
I agree with what you say about the series 2 as well I used to find myself
staring at mine alot and of course without power steering you have to be a gorilla to park it.... oh happy days Rolling Eyes
I have not owned a 33 for a few years now and am lately getting an
itch that will have to be scratched very soon I think.

Ian

Yes, the lack of power steering can some times be painfull, especially after a nice lunch, when you´re feeling lazy and have to drive home, and unpark the car from where it is...

But it feels like the steering rack without power aid is "more direct", like if you dont have to turn it as much as with power steering...

( i must try this when i get home, to see how much turns does both rack do... )

Non-power steering is definitely more direct and if sorted with decent rack and new pan bearings is pretty much as easy to turn except at 2mph and definitely miles, miles easier than modern cars' power steering which is artificially weighted to centre!

I'm planning building a diary, as i rebuilt the QVs engine, and just swaped the Imola one because of failure on the big end bearings...

Ok, What's your verdict on the comparison between your S2 QV and your S3 s16 QV? Which one do you prefer overall and why?

Nice collection by the way. Now you need a sportswagon to be truely complete Smile. Nnamdi (AL33NUT)
