Iron Maiden? you've lost me there Ben. Might go to the Supercar show at the Skytower. Love to see the new A1 GP car and particularly the McLaren F1. And the Enzo and 430 Scuderia.
Regards Eddie

Hi,

The 1949 bike vs train vs car thing was a bit of fun, but I don't believe a 1949 Vincent Black shadow would have been Richard Hammond's 'childhood dream bike'. He's about the same age as me Embarassed and my childhood dream bikes were contemporary stuff like suzuki gt750 triple, gs750 four, then honda cbx six etc etc.

Barry Sheenes or the road bikes?

Both wicked. I remeber riding my Yamaha fs1e (with rd500lc paint job) flat out in 1985 and this 500 gamma appeared at my side, the rider nodded (laughed!) then screamed away like a ufo with 4 jets of smoke left behind. Cool

The only other time I've seen a gamma 500 on the road was about '97, and someone had stacked it on Watford Ring road. They were being put in the ambulance as I passed Confused .

He he, i just watched it, lol

I have ridden a bike in my past and have never left the reserve switch in the reserve possition after filling up because i knew i would get stranded!!
Even though he left it in the reserve possition, whats the difference when riding around empty on the reserve to a full tank on reserve? You would think it would be worse on empty on reserve as the sludge would be more concentrated compaired to a full tank.

Just watched this weeks episode and was lmao up until 1:30 before the end of the program where the stupid BBC over ran their time, ffs! Why can they never get this right? What are we paying a T.V licence for?
Out of a whole series of a program on Virgin1, only 1 episode was early.

Thanks for BBC iPlayer

I agree totally, this new series is not very good, time to put it to bed now.
Perhaps a couple of specials a year would be better.
