I've finally joined after being an infrequent visitor for a few years. So nice to meet you all. Very Happy

I've knocked around with flat four Alfas for sometime starting with a Sud 1200 4 speed, in the '80s. It was a great introduction to ARs, very peppy and handled like a dream but the front firewall disintegrated into red dust.

Then an '83 Sud 1.5 QO which was exceptional fun. Brakes were poo in the wet and the electrics were like wet string but it went like a cut cat and loved corners...until it collided with a fence post and neatly folded in two.

Next was and is a red, 1993, 33 1.7 16v QV P4. It's currently a FWD as it's missing the drive line between the gearbox and rear diff, hence me joining the forum to enlist some kind help to track down the missing parts. I'm in the throws of restoring it back to original and would love to get the 4WD complete to finish it off.

I'm after the drive shafts, viscous coupling and supports and the rotating mass. I'm happy to look at parts in any condition at the moment as I realise the difficulty of the task in just locating them so any direct help or leads to finding them would be gratefully appreciated.

There is also a 146 1.6 project car that I'm working on for my kids to learn to drive in, so yeah...Long Live Alfa Romeo!

Thanks for the tip. I've searched ebay tonight but all I get is the generic hits for spark plugs, filters and the like. Do you have any URLs, links or search headers that would lead me to those bits?

Hi

I have a prop shaft with viscous coupling. Think I have a rear axle as well.

Viscous coupling mounts are a nightmare to get hold of (and have been for over a decade).

All the best

Katy
