i need to get quotes to ship a 8v engine from uk to australia anyone know the weight of a 1.7 8v motor.?
also has anyone shipped an engine to aus from uk and how much it cost? |

because i can t get one here , well i found one but they wanted $2000 this one cost $500 , how much is the carbed 1.7 in nz ? or does anyone know of any in australia ?? |

It's easy enough to get a 33 in NZ for less than $2000, but that won't be a new/rebuilt motor obviously. |

also, don't disregard the hong kong market. the get rid of their cars at about 50,000km so they're still quite young. a lot cheaper than UK as well. i was able to get the front half of a 33 16V brought over for about AUD$2,000 [includes engine, suspension, brakes, ignition, console, steering wheel and column - pretty much everything you would normally find on the front half of a car]. |
