This was how the S3 looked in early 1989, with the whole front end in black plastic. Thankfully the grille/light surrounds were later colour-coded. Note the old-style wheels too!

Sorry, that was me! Does anyone have any more pics of Alfa 33 prototypes / styling? Seems that such images are rare to come by.
Also note the bare aluminium gutturing on the SW. |
