Alfa 33 1.5iE 1990 I have trouble starting the car if left for more than one day the car has to be "excited" by sending a low voltage back to the ECU does this mean I have to get a new ECU? and if so anyone got any ideas where from?

Have you tried resetting the ecu by unplugging the battery for a few minutes?
