Hi, I know that this has probably been covered before, but has anyone done this conversion on a sprint 16v or 33 road car?
What I need to know for sure is what size jets etc for the twin 40 idf weber carbs from 8v 1.7 engine, ive put on a standard 137 16vengine , chokes are 36. ticks over ok, it sounds glorious. Would be greatly apppreaciated if someone could let me know, ive tried the maintenance section but i thought one of you lot must have done this for fast road or even racing.. Cheers lee |

Hi guys,
Any idea on power for this set up as it looks soooo much easier that after market engine management? I may be worth giving up a few bhp for the simplicity of carbs - but I don't want to loose too much in the process.
Any power and torque figures would be good.
