The 3rd AROC Black & White Garage Track Day
at Donington Park on October 26th. With the last two years having been sell-outs, contact Donington ASAP to avoid disappointment. Here are the relevant details:

Donington Park National Circuit
Sunday 26th October 2007
£115 per car and driver for the day
Passengers £20 and additional drivers £35
Each car will be on track for 1 x 20 minute session in every hour

To book, please call Caroline Blythe at Donington on 01332 819503
stating that you're with the AROC. (Note that a booking fee
applies to card transactions. To avoid this, send a cheque, payable to
Donington Park Leisure Limited, to Caroline Blythe, Donington Park,
Castle Donington, Derby, DE74 2RP. Don't forget to mention what you are
booking for!)

Even if you aren't going to drive, you might consider taking advantage of free entry for spectators. With lots to see on and off the track, this is a great opportunity for a social gathering of registers or area sections. We will, no doubt, be arranging a social gathering on the evening of 25th Oct so plan to be there.

Re. Oct 25th: We are approaching the point where Donington
will need to open up the day to the general public, if we don't get a few
more bookings ourselves. That would be a shame as a big part of the craic is filling the paddock and track sessions with Alfas. If you haven't
already booked, but intend to go, can you please reserve your place ASAP?
Remember that this could be the last chance to drive Donington, at least in its present form. Rumour is that the circuit will close at some time next
year for development work needed to accommodate the F1 British GP in a few season's time.

We may get in bed with another club to fill the remaining slots. That
would prevent the Max Power brigade spoiling things, but with your support, it needn't even come to that.
