Interesting. Although it has just passed, the handbrake doesn't, like DOESN'T work at all. One of the front brakes doesn't work.

There is additional corrosion, which I think should also fail.

That 50 quid did work then Laughing

Seriously, I guess they can always miss bits on an MOT. I had one done about 4 years ago and only a month later the bottom spring pan on the front suspension gave way (rusty) and I ground to a smokey halt! Should have been picked up really.

Still working hard on the 33 then! (found that pesky ghost yet?)

I'm trying to banish all the ghostly sounds before I leave on Thursday... but it looks like I will take a few along for cinematic effect!

A few things left to do mate... planning to finish off Saturday morning.

I'll be carrying most stuff as we're going back to the port on different days. Needless to say, if you breakdown on the French side when returning, we'll drive along to laugh hysterically at you help out with whatever tools and help you might need.

So, I guess I'll be taking most things - perhaps taking a few bits just in case would be good?

Very wise... I think I'll do the same. That makes real sense.

I recommend some spare pants, in case I'm driving behind you on the autoroute and my brakes fail! Laughing

I'm gonna pack a nice shirt, so if I'm stuck on the hard shoulder... at least I can look good Very Happy

Don't forget the engine crane and the 3 ton press.
