One week now then chaps... again - ANY MORE questions?

Do we all know where we're going? Iain... do you know where the villa is?

Bob
Er no not yet, but I will be taking a sat nav (just made paul redundant from map reading) Laughing

Hi Iain... the only thing you need to know is the town name, Lorcé. It's only a small place, I suggest you give me a call when you get close? +44 7727 947766.

Failing that... here are some crayzee Engleesh Bobbber directions :

From Brussels, you'll go round the R0 (their version of the M25) and then take the A3 to Liege. (Note the signs in parts of Belgium will change to Luik, the Flemish name, but this is still Liege). Once at Liege, take the A26 south, towards Luxembourg :

Get off at Junction 47 and turn left down Rue de Lorcé :

I can't remember how it works after that... but you seem to go into the town and there is a hard right turn - straight after you need to turn right up the lane and that leads to the villa :

The age of modern technology, you shouldn't have any problems - like I said, just give me a bell if you need to.

Hope that helps... Bob

(Iain, I seem to have lost your mobile number when I broke my phone, can you pm it to me please... tar)

I think there was enough lacking in the bowel department in the last post to not require any modification! Laughing

I've got a faulty coolant tank cap by the looks of it... it's not pressurizing at all!

However, I'm getting one tomorrow! Phew!

I'm kinda fraught with nervousness and a tad anxious at the journey ahead. Fingers crossed.

I'll see you at the travel lodgey thing Bob.

See the rest off you on Friday.

Good luck everyone with your journeys!

Well after a fairly long day yesterday I made it home at 5ish pm, car was superb with the only issue being an exhaust rubber around the center box kept coming off, the Parade session's Paul and I did were a bit all over the place, some really quick sections then a traffic jam straight after!. Eau Rouge was awesome both Paul and I managed to get up to 100mph (I reckon we could have got to it at 105-110mph) but backed off to 80mph as we approached this area (its f*****g steep) I'm sure with a few more sessions of the track I would be confident at hitting it at 90-95mph. I have some editing software being sent to me for the 19min video I took as most of it is being stuck behind a Que and Paul and I talking pap Laughing . Today would be interesting for Bobber and Andy's journey, I hope they have a smooth one. Anyway it was great to meet up with like minded fellas Lee, Than (who i hear you say Wink ) Andy and the almighty Bobber. To summarize the whole weekend I would say it was EXTREME. Cool

Howdy folks... that was EXTREME eh???

Well, a couple of things went wrong with the car... but nothing too bad.

Overheated (if the gauge is correct) in a Belgian tunnel on the Autoroute which was a bit scary. Loose alternator belt on the way back, which I usually tension with a crowbar against the PS pump. Levered it as normal and the power steering pump (not all the bolts in it) went schwing! Laughing

Nevermind... made it home - had a great time. Great to meet the chaps. I have some fantastic on track footage... shortly to follow.
