Based on that were there only 480 in total, i am a bit confused with
Quote:
S2 1.5 14 + 11veloce (14)
and only added 14 to the total, should i add the 11 as well, bringing it to 491?

The misc are in brackets making 486 total.
There were two types of 1.5 for insurance purposes - 95hp and 105hp
so 14 + 11 = 25

Yes, that one is already on the list. Chris (m3249guzzi) bought it on this site and sold it to Paul. There are photos of it on this site somewhere.

Lee - those figures INCLUDE SORN 33s!

There may be some Minaris showing as 33s.

They sold aprox 120 kits, about 100 completed (guess).

About 2 thirds would be 33 based (as opposed to sud/sprint). Some of these are registered as Minari Roadsports with a Minari chassis number, but some have the donor cars identity.

I'd like to know, if it's possible from the SMMT/DVLA lists, how many Gold Cloverleafs remain in the UK ?

Thanks

Hi, a few years ago the DVLA could only find 4 Gold Cloverleafs registered, so who knows, maybe you've got the only one left Question Exclamation Shocked Cool

There are only 11 (maybe 10) series one 1490cc 33s left in total in the UK now.

Bumped into this 1.7 Veloce SW today - barn find. Been off the road in there for ten years

How many of the those 19 S2 SWs are 1.7 Veloce?

I ask because the 'exhumer' is deciding whether to break it or not. It doesn't need much.

It certainly was three weeks ago

I got the feeling he isn't particularly enthusiastic about putting it back on the road and needed a bit of encouragement. Or maybe waiting for a buyer first, want him to put it back on the road.

Probably like most of us - been there, had them - got too many projects on the go at the mo'

Hi

Not sure if anyone has seen this:-

http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/opensecrets/2010/01/mot_failure_rates_released.html

Few people have knocked up the Vosa document into a spreadsheet. Does include the number of 33s, the number of passes an fails and the failure points.

All the best

Keith

Hi Keith, long time no hear Smile

In 2007 173 Alfa 33s failed MOT and 197 passed, but some of these may be retests of the cars failing. Pass rate 46.8%

A better rate than Hyundai coupe or Alfa 146 or 155 or Fiat Tipo.

There was one fail for an Arna Exclamation Sad

On a slightly different note as of November last year there were 467 Alfa 33s registered.
I know of 263 of them.
Of these 263 I can only work out 63 that are definitely taxed and 186 that definitely are not.
No wonder we don't see many about. Exclamation

Hi

The rhd S3 1.3 we have (1992 carbed car) is probably still counted by the DVLA as existing, but having been hit hard from behind it won't go back on the road.

All the best

Keith
