what mod will i have to do to the box,so it will work on my 16v engine?

Hi chap
well it looks like theres acouple of things you need to do,but ive been told that the s3 1.4 gearbox has lower gearing and ive found one for sale,so i think i will go for that

FYI the series 2 Alfa 33 and Sprint 1.3 from around 1987 on has the same ratios and final drive as the series 3 1.3/1.4. Watch out for worn synchros.

Hi
Gearbox ratios are here:-

Sud boxes are set up with a mechanical speedo and don't think it is easy to change that for an electronic speedo pickup.
The series 3 1351 engined cars do have lower ratio diffs.
