As Nnamdi has mentioned on another thread, and having a conversation with BigAl there seems to be a very little in the way of 'italian car' inspired events so my idea is to get us like minded folk together to enjoy what little summer / autum days we have with the cars.
I know there are at least 5 33 owners within a 40 mile radius of my house, and seeing as I have a decent garage now equiped with many tools I was thinking of offering my equipment and limited skills in helping us keep moving (including tea).
The only condition I would ask if there is any interest is these events are to take place on a Sat afternoon and your car/s to be out the way by 6pm and any materials be bought by yourselfves.
The 1st event I have in minded would be a tunnel run through the new 1.3 mile Hindhead followed by a trek across to Chichester on one of my favorite roads (70miles) in total.
My garage space would come on a 1st come 1st served basis to keep things fair but a weeks notice would be appreciated.
If your interested I will respond to any pm and give my address details out with mobile tel number.
This offer is only to 33 owners!.
Cheers Iain. _________________ PHAT 33 |

Hi Iain,
How's tomorrow looking? I'm guessing that numbers and the weather forecast might be going against us for tomorrow. Let me know either way.
I'm not able to make it next weekend as I'm away.
Ta!

Iain, good day on Saturday! Thanks for organising and also for your hospitality!
Guys you missed a great drive. Iain's car continues to impress - great car! I tell you though, we went on some proper drivers roads! It was great! The only thing missing was a bigger convoy of Alfas.
Although Iain's car was impressive on the twisties I can gladly report that mine wasn't bad either. It was great to drive my car with a bit of anger. I tend to go easy on my car but I think it enjoyed the Italian tune up it received on Saturday. We ended up at Goodwood which was a treat - watched a number of favorites going through their paces (911, M3 CSL, Lotus Elise, TT, 205 GTI, Civic Type R etc).
Iain intends to organise another day like this soon - can't wait! His plan this time is to break the drive with a barbeque at the coast or pub call (depending on the weather) and also a tunnel run. Put your names down below if you're interested. Iain will suggest a couple of dates which will generally be on Saturdays. Only rule is that your car should be an Alfa (or recognised derivative) with a boxer engine. Is that right Iain?
Oh yeah, I also think we should share the buscuit and milk burden so we don't drain Iain and his better half of lounging essentials. We can sort this out nearer the time.
Ok, put your name down below if you're interested in the next run:

cheers nnamdi, i hope to make this bigger than a bug jam, just with alfa's.
I may be cutting of other interested parties by asking for boxer engine cars but may offer it out if lack of us 33 ers!. _________________ PHAT 33 |

Send me a list of those you know of in the area and I can check in with them directly. It'll be nice to keep it focused on boxer engined cars for now...I think.
These are the guys I think are in our area:
BigAl
Cloverleaf Pat
Mark (of Gatwick Alfa - Pat's brother)
Lauren (green machine)
Rat Trap
Jattsta (may have spelt this wrongly)
Nnamdi (Me)
Iain (You)
Have I missed anyone out?
That would make a good convoy if we can even have 4 - 6 cars. |

It'd be great if we can get in touch with them directly. Do you know if they are on here or on alfaowner.com? |

Hi Iain, you know I would always be up for a tear up (all within the law of course) but unfortunately I'm not available this weekend. Next weekend works for me if it works for everyone else too. Otherwise, have a blast if you go this Saturday! |

I reckon it would be good to have a 33 meet up.
Does the car have any anniversaries coming up?
155.org had a 20th last year which was quite a hoot.
Anyone interested? _________________ Drivers:
