Just a little update , tailgate has been repaired in the end all rust cut out and new metal put back in .
I have had 4 brand new light fitted in the sud and as most of the panels at front have been painted I thought I would fit the front up to see how it looks.
I know I still have to get the shell painted but will re flat outside of wings and bonnet so they can be flicked over with the paint when shell is done so there will be no colour issues.
I will try and get a pic of it in the sun as it looks black.

Here's a couple of pics that show the colour in the sun also have been talking to the painter at work and he's going to paint the rest of the shell just after Christmas Smile.

I know it's an old style "max power " sort of mod but tinting your indicators darker would suit the colour I think.

Car has had a little trip to my brothers garage today to get the car welding all finished and rear of car primed flatted and hopefully painted soon.
Looking forward to seeing it finished .

A bit of floor chopping.
Drivers side had to cut out previous dodgy repair.

metal cut out.
Previous repair welded underneath straight over rusty metal.

I haven't done much to the car for a while but decided to take the screen out as there was a rust scab creaping out from under the windscreen rubber but on taking it out I found this which I'm going to get done in a few weeks time.


I have had to take the dash out as the rust went behind it .
Here are two of wheels before and after they were sorted at work.
