Sorry for my silly joke
My faute: probably I have a personal problem
with trendy cars, an idiosyncrasy with the habit
to buy new cars every few years, but I now
some times taking a new car make sense,
and in reality I have nothing against german cars,
I started restoring cars for hobby with my father
with vw beetles and T2 bus (boxers) and lancia
(Flavia and Fulvia coupe', boxers and v4 motors).
If I remember well, subaru boxer was an evolution
of the alfa sud/33 project, that was an evolution
of the vw beetle one, with some same knowledge
and designers involved from one project to the other
PS: whats the year of the 1.7 i.e. you founded?
Good journey!! |

My company car is a German one so as long as the nails don't find their way towards those tyres i'm happy .
I'll post picies on here on saturday when i get back with the 33, it's an L-reg 1.7 ie, looks lovely in the dark blue. Have also got another 16v coming soon. |

May be It is worth the fuel bill if you compare that alfa driving journey
to a classic touristic holiday (of course talking about motor-heads people)
Saint Madam Reliability watch over those all twelve brave cylinders ' '
and move away nails from their road to the one of some trendy german car.. |

|
In a weeks time myself & a friend are heading up to Oban to drop off his Bertone GTV to it's new owner, i'm following him in his 75. Then we are driving to Cheshire in order for me to collect the blue 33 i've just bought. The trip back from there is via Allhallows in Kent to visit his Grandparents & for a well earned break. Then it's the trip back home, so in all it will be a 1090 mile journey shared between a 1972 GTV, a 1989 75 & a 1993 33, (i'm trying to ignore the fuel bill!). Wish me luck |
