Yes it is the lambda and i would say yes you do need it otherwise the car will not run very well because it will not adjust the fuel air mix correctly and the car wont like it very much. I think.

It could be the air flow meter it causes thoughs types of probs something to think about. If you do change the ecu and it works let us now. Cheers Cool

The ones I got off Tony at Formula 1 bolted staight on same calipers were used just had to clean the preservetive off them. Your right Scott really friendly people and great service from them.

Once you clean the air flow meter I would make sure you silicon the cover back on to stop any moisture build up (I used a cotton bud to clean mine) worth a try though.
