Due to my p4 blowing up in flames and nearly taking my wife & kids with it!!!,i have some spares for sale.as i won't be buying another one again because of the fact that they burn so quickly!!!.

Yesterday my wife was picking up the kids and the car died on her??,then exploded under the bonnet and burst into flames.
She JUST got the kids out,before the whole car(front & back)was alight!!. ...

i surpose it must be somewhere near the crank?????but where?.

dipstick is bang on the mark,yes i did flush out hot oil and replace with cold,but with a good hour apart.

Changed oil and filter yesterday.........no problems,had it running up to temp beforehand to put in engine flush.so it was running smooth as a die.Then after i'd put the new oil in...........would it ...

what you are looking for is a tooth mesh sensor,which sits between the engine and gearbox,its part number is 60578048,its classed as a coil.
try alfashop on 01603 426277,if i remember rightly its abo ...

There must be someone out there that has a front pair of indicators for a series 3 33

Shame about that......as i know where there is a 155 q4,37000 miles on the clock,immaculate inside and out,going for 3 grand Confused

As Rflower said,its probaly due to short trips and condensation,my alfa does the very same thing,but if its taken on a long run,its gone.
I'd say,unless its showing on your dipstick,your ok.
