| definetly pull the injectors out and take them to garage to supersonic cleaning. I lovered my consumption from 9 to 8 litres/100 km on 1.7 16v. |

not until when rust comes out around the petrol cap You can always put the old engine back if new one dies. Except if you sell it off like me. |

| Yeah that's another option, I got perfect 16v engine in totaly rusted 33 S. So i split the costs with my friend, he got the Recaro interior and I got the engine and transmission. 200€ later my 33 now ... |

| bore your 1.5 block to fit 1.7 pistons, replace heads, mainshaft,... and you're good to go. It's what they do in factory. |

| same happened to me. Clutch bearing by Valeo has plastic housing. Keep to Sahs of LUK and you should be on teh safe side. BTW I replaced 1.5 i.e. engine with 16v engine because of this. It was cheaper ... |

| I'm planning to fit two ventilators on my radiator on 33 16v. One was not quite sufficient even for 1.5 i.e. with AC. Now i'm constantly runing on 90+ °C when driving in town. |

the obvious solution is to drive slower, if they can't stand to lose it's their problem. I bet that let's say mclaren would be faster than minardi despite the michelin tires.

All cables are plugged in correctly because I have a working 1.7 16v car parked next to mine to compare.
