Well after my slow start, on thursday night I fitted the heads carbs linkage belts, ignition, add fuel and charged the battery.

She started first time with a small squirt of easy start.

Must delayed response, all parts in place just have to collect the Spring compressor from a mate.

She's a later hydraulic engine.

Bent 1 valve so decided to replace the lot. Valves, guides and gasket set ordered

Anything I should be looking out for.

I've got to strip a head off the sprint, it's unbolted, belt & carbs's off etc..
But the head won't shift, I've bashed it with a piece of wood and a hammer Twisted Evil
I've levered on it. Embarassed ...

Sorted but forgot to post it up as it makes me a fool,

The carb return was still connected to the tank, and the feed was in a jerry can, so I was using the carbs to fill teh tank.

Well got both done fitted them to the car, then realised we had taken the belts off in preparation for water pump and belt change Rolling Eyes

One carb done last night, easily enough done but had to modify the Gaskets to match teh original ones.

Next one will be done next week, I must post up some photos of the work been carried out.

I've got a small issue with my sprint, Having got her running again, I've noticed she's going through .5 L of fuel in about 4 -6 minutes of running.

Anyone got any ideas? I'm guessing I'll have to ...

Don't heat in the oven. a radiator or hair drier produces enough heat.

Difficult to say, it's a race prepared car so the noise levels while driving with a helmet on are fairly high.

Yes they will, I ran a 145 box in my sprint for a while. No speedo and I made up a new linkage to suit, shift was worse than standard, so not an ideal solution. But had I bothered to refine the system ...

My 75 has both Bulb illuminated and led illuminated switches.
But out ofall the switches in 2 Sprint's 3 75's, and a 33 Haven't managed to get a complete illuminated set for the 75.I have to get so ...
