Rich - many thanks, but thats the wrong bolts!........its the con-rod bolts I need to know.

I would also be interested to know the head bolt torques for the 1.7 8V hydraulic head if you have them? ...

is this any help?.........some I did a few years back........one thing to bear in mind which is not included in the drawings........you need about 5mm clearance under all the vertical baffle edges.

Both my 16v and series 2 read just under 3500 revs at 70 in top, so looks like Bobber is spot on.

yes, thats true for the throttle/acellerator cable.......but its the choke cable that I'm asking about, the one that needs to be operated for cold weather starting
