| Will it start on a tow-start? If so, suspect starter unit is faulty. If not - then I'm puzzled too - unless somehow one cylinder has hydraulic-locked and bent a con-rod. be very unusual, though. | |

| If the pump is now running - check (carefully) for pressure on the fuel rail - and you've got spark, then its down to the ECU or more likely electrical connections in the system.

| OK - I'll check either tomorrow or on Tuesday, I know I've got a 16v and think it was from an L-reg, so should have been a cat car. I've stripped the car but should have most bits.....

| Which 33 engine are you after - size? carb or injection?
I know I have a 1.7 16v - think I may have an 8v.... As above - 145 will fit but electrics issues... HTH Richard |
