I want to swap the standard 14 inch alloys on my 33 for something a bit bigger (probably off a 155/145) so that I can run lower profile, and possibly wider tyres.
I also want to put stiffer springs ... |

My 33 is in for pre-MOT bits at the moment. It was running WAY too rich so the emissions were way out.
Immediate thought was a gummed up air flow meter but... apparently late 33s 1.7 8 valves don't ... |

Eddie - That would be standard 145 alloy size then, although IIRC i think the offset on those is 36. Right, time to go forth and find a set of 145 QV wheels. Bravo/Brava/Marea ones will be OK too.

Good news - my 33 should get through the MOT without too much work and should be back with me at the weekend.
Now to start playing with it

It's a 1993 1.7ie Turismo. Got an MOT for a week, but a quick check over it hasn't revealed too ... |

As always, there's a reason it's so cheap. It's got a 145 engine in it with no history, so you're looking at a cambelt change as soon as you get it at the very minimum.
