Ouch ouch ouch, to see your beautiful project smashed up like that.
Glad you're okay and I hope you find a suitable replacement.
Thanks for sharing the pictures with us Matt. _________________ //Wizz

Holy sh*t Matt, only just seen the thread, I must have missed the email about the board changing URL, I just had the old forum bookmarked and kept getting the message about it being back in a week or two. (Stoopidly had the forum book marked directly, not the site, so only just got back)
Firstly, glad you are OK, and sorry about the car, she was a beaut, and my Mrs says the same (you gave her a lift round the track). Bloody lucky no-one in the passenger seat. Fecking Chelsea tractors, should be speed restricted electronicaly to 50mph.
Hope your hunt for a replacement was fruitful? _________________ (00=\°/=00) (00=\°/=00)

I am horrified to hear this has happened to you. Long had I known about this project and was amazed how much you were doing.
As someone else who's done a lot of work to a 33, I know exactly how you must feel. At least though, the car did you proud in that it kept you from harm.
As for getting right back into it straightaway and looking for a replacement: good on you. I hope you find what you're looking for. _________________ Hugh B

I got a letter today from her solicitors. She claims she was in lane 3, and I came from lane two into the fast lane and hit her, and so she is sueing me!!!!
I hope to god, the police report has some CCTV footage to back up what actually happened. By my recollection, I never left lame 1 until she hit me.
I wonder if she had half a clue as to where she actually was???
Any way, have started the work on the new one (thanks to Dave of the AROC 33 register for finding the new shell). The rear brakes and suspension are now moved over, and I did have to swap a rear drive shaft, as a rear bearing was tired in the new car. However, haven't had much time to do much else, as I'm busy putting PA/VA systems into bus stations......
Still will try and keep you posted _________________ Regards

Lying bitch!
Hopefully you will have other witnesses who will stop her opportunism in its tracks. |

fingers crossed on the CCTV. If there is a camera where you had your ding, you can ask for a copy of the tape and BY LAW (Data Protection Act) they MUST send it to you or they are in trouble and the most they can charge is £10. So get the document below, change the bit you need to, then print this letter, and send it off with a cheque Worth a shot.
Word doc. http://www.dreamracers.net/onfilm.doc
More info on the Data Protection thing here -
