The tank on my P4 has started leaking Sad

Anyone got one for sale please?

Or, failing that, does anyone know if it's possible to effect repair on these tanks? MOT is coming up soon.

Incidentally, the difference between injection and non injection tanks is that the former has an extra top connection for the return fuel.

I replaced my injection tank with a non injection one, and simply connected the return fuel line to the breather line.

I think the P4 one is different to both of these though, if i remember correctly it's smaller because of the rear axle/diff. Someone correct me if i'm wrong though.

Hi BW btw Very Happy

P4 is similar volume, but different in its shape. Normal ie 33 has its tank under rear passangers seat, while P4 has rear diff there, so P4 tank is more behind under boot, somewhat shorter but higher.

100€
The tank is in good condition. If you need any other P4 specific part speak now or forever hold your peace cause she is going bye bye soon.

I can delivere parts to Bregana border cross, Krsko or Brezice on weekends. The car is in Ljubljana.

i fixed a fuel tank on a p4 with chemical metal. just take the tank out and strip off all the plastic paint off the bottom and file it to the metal.

then use chemical metal to fill the holes and leave to set for a day or 2. pain it before you put it back in and bingo.. working fuel tank. the fix has lasted for 18 months so far and still going strong. Very Happy
