Help! When my car is full of fuel, I find a small pool of fuel under the car on the nearside. Its obviously coming from some of the pipework leading to the fuel tank but I can't see where (I've only had a quick look).

Any ideas

Hi,

Sounds like it could be from the filler hose to tank join, if it's only when full up.

Really just a case of a good look, feel and sniff around. Take care, it's not bonfire night yet!

Hi,

There is a small rubber hose between the filler neck and the plastic vertical tube that actually fills in the tank. Check this out and it will be probably worn out; this had happen to my car and a lot of fuel was escaping and lots of dirt coming in the tank...

Regards,
