In one other forum (not alfa), i have seen a topic with header "Cars Seen".
I think it would be interesting to have something similar here , since 33's are very rare these days.
Administrator, what do you think? _________________ A112 |

Yes Tino/Keith,
I've seen this on an Alfa 145 forum - and it's quite popular!

I have nothing against it, but I'm just moderator while Keith is admin.
To open new sub forum with that topic you'll need admin.
In meantime you can create similar topic here in general forum or I could rename this threads topic?

Hi
What do you mean. An extra forum area for it? If so that can easily be created.
All the best

Keith,
I think that's the idea. So you have :
General
Racing
Maintenance
For sale & Wanted
"Spotted" - or whatever it's called.
There's one on another site here (as an example) :
http://forum.alfa145.com/index.php?s=3e1603676ea59e6164aa9763a2cdfeb3&showforum=66
Although I can't say I'd be using it myself - as I've only seen one 33 outside of AROC events in the past three years, and it's MINE!!!!

Hi
Last 33 I saw on the road when I was in a 33 was at the M5 / M6 junction last year. They seem to have suddenly died off (maybe that is Alfas aversion to supplying parts for them these days).
An extra forum area with each thread being a registration plate might be an idea. Other alternative would be to knock something specific up in php.
All the best

Hi,
A nice example are the first topic areas of alfabb.com.
Picture room General Forum, contains topics mostly dealing with pictures - spotted alfas, a pic of your own alfa etc.
Would be nice to have something like that!

Damn. So the 33 is dying out in most parts of the world? I can almost swear this if not as good, not that far off from those highly acclaimed 'legends' of the 80's like 205 GTI, Golf or any other hatches. Why the terrible fate? Recently acquired a WRX STI but fun factor is not any much higher than the 33. But a lot faster of course. |
