| Just been fiddling with the engine and have broken the fuel pipe connector on the carburetor! Was trying to replace the fuel pipe between the 2 carbs. Does anyone have a spare one? I see from the workshop manual that there are 2 types, the one I need is from the offside carb (not sure if this is left-hand or right-hand). |

| Problem sorted. Rang Eurocarb (UK distributor for Dellorto) and they have put one in the post. Apparently they no longer supply left and right hand parts, there is just a common one. The difference between the original parts was that one had identical bores for the inlet and outlet pipes whilst the other (which is the one I have broken) has a restriction in the casting to ensure the fuel doesn't get pushed straight back to the tank. So will have to add a restriction to the return pipe. |
