|
|
Hi all:
Following my intro post I hope it is ok to post a couple of requests on here. 1994 1.7IE. Looking for
1) fuel tank (I know, probably no chance!). Does anyone know of anyone who would custom make a new tank?
2) steering wheel. Just looking for a standard Alfa leather one.

Hi,
Fuel tank in good nick is very very rare. Matt33 on this forum is going to break a 94 car soon, tank may be good??
Steering wheels should be ten a penny. They sometimes come up on ebay, as do cars being broken. The steering wheel should be in low demand, thus cheap.
If you can hold out for / get a Nardi wheel off a P4 and early 16v, you'll be glad you did- so much better than the standard leather wheel- bit smaller, couple of thumb lumps, much easier to grip in the twisties!

£54 is a bit pricey for a recon radiator Bobbber Guess it could be strapped up under the car to hold maybe a couple of litres of petrol.
Only kidding- do they actually do a recon TANK for a 33??? Anthing like £54 and we'll all be on the team.

If matt's tank is no good i have two spare tanks, one has been recon'd using one of the POR15 tank repair kits then hammerited on the outside, the other is pretty tidy and standard.
