does anyone know of a tracking place that will do the rear tracking (shimming it up) as my rear is toeing out about 20mins, dont know what side, hence oversteer in the wet when going around roundabouts, wahooo. I have been advised to set up my tracking to paralell and then run string from the front wheel to the rear and see what side, if not both, the string touches the front of the rear tyre first. I whish i did this when i setup my tracking, doh!! Even then i wouldnt like to do this myself, dont know how hard it is but my garrage says it is well time consuming.
Im in Brighton and Redhill area _________________ x2 33 16v

I havn't needed 4 wheel alignment doing on my 33 yet but in the past I have used Protyre for this service. They use a pretty good laser alignment machine and I think it costs about £35 to check it, then a further £15-30 to adjust settings on the front and back if needed. So you're looking at around £60 all in.
The closest branch to you seems to be in Fareham ( I think that's round your way )
I know that it's a little cheaper if you get tyres at the same time, as that's what I normally do. |
