Hi,
Last winter my cambelts slipped off together with the main pulley and I had to restore one head completely . Now I got it all together and the machine knocks on heavy load and sometimes during accelleration . My mech says it can be the main bearing which are of aluminium that got hit when the piston crashed into the valves.
Is this hard to fix on my own and can it be done when the engine is on the car .
I removed and reinstalled everyting myself but had the valves and valve seats done proffessionally.
Thanks,

It is just the same behaviour as Yvon is writing about in another thread.
Knock and Rattling on the right side of the engine.
Accelleration and driveability is good but the car is no longer the rocket it used to be.
