Hi guys wondering which colour wires go where for alfa 33 1986 1.5L twin carby

-Sensors under carbies -----> Purple/Brown ?
-Temperature sensor in middle of engine -----> Brown?
-Coolant Block looking sensor near dipstick -----> Orange?
-Oil pressure sensor near oil filter -----> Grey?

That should about do it

i found that certain wires will only reach to certain places anyway which should rule out most of the wires when trying to connect them.thats the way i did it and i got it right 1st time.

Ok for future reference so far i have nutted it out as follows:


-Sensors under carbies -----> Purple/Black & Brown
-Temperature sensor in middle of engine -----> Brown
-Coolant Block looking sensor near dipstick -----> Orange
-Oil pressure sensor near oil filter -----> Grey

cant anyone help? I have compiled a list of most of the unknown wires, and the loom sections they appear on:

There are 3 major groups of wires that enter the engine bay:

Loom 1:

- 2 Green wires with clips - 1 goes to starter Other goes to black wire on loom 2?
- 1 Yellow wire which loops onto power of starter
- 1 Black wire which loops onto power of starter

Loom 2:

- 4 Black earths to engine block
- 1 Red/Black wire?
- 1 Red wire which loops onto power of starter
- 1 Orange/Black wire to coolant temp sensor
- 1 Grey wire to oil pressure gauge
- 3 Voilet/Black wires -----> perhaps to carby sensors??
- 1 Grey/Green wire?
- 1 Green/White wire?

Loom3:

- 1 Red wire to alternator
- 1 Green wire to alternator
- 1 Brown wire?
