Sunday 13th April - Spring Alfa Day – The Historic Dockyard Chatham
The venue proved extremely popular with our members back in 2003, attracting over 500 Alfas
Sunday 1st June – Alfa Romeo Owners’ Club National Concours – Stanford Hall
The Club will be the guests of Auto Italia magazine at the Italian Car Concours. Here we will stage the AROC National Concours. This event will incorporate all the attractions and features of our traditional National Alfa Day along with large gatherings from Lancia, Fiat and Lamborghini. This combined with the Maserati Club’s Concours and the Ferrari Owners’ Club will ensure that the Auto Italia Concours will be host to some of the finest Italian cars in the country.
Sunday 31st August – AROC Live (venue to be confirmed)
Subject to final confirmation from the venue. This will be an all-action day for the whole family and very much geared towards those members who have requested an event where they can drive their own cars and see others in action. Working in association with Javelin Trackdays, the full and varied programme will include circuit time with free instruction and hot laps, timed sprints, a road run, an autotest, karting and maybe during the lunch period, a pedal cycle race! Novices will be actively encouraged to participate in all the activities.
The local main Alfa Romeo dealer will have a full selection of new and used cars on display and for demonstration. A performance-tuning clinic along with a rolling road will also be provided. Although AROC Live will not be a park up and picnic event, provision and arrangements will be made for those members may wish to do so. A Saturday evening barbecue will be organised at a local riverside hostelry. Our plans are at an advanced stage and we hope to finalise arrangements in the coming weeks. _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Now from P4 & S2 1.7 QV
