I have a alfa 146 and the gearbox has packed up Rolling Eyes It is the 1600 boxer engined car.Does anyone know if a box from 1 33 or sud sprint would fit?

Hi

It might "fit" but it would not be easy. Not sure about the speedo drive. The 145/6 gearbox sump is cast alloy rather than steel. Most importantly the Sud / Sprint / 33 uses rods for the gearchange linkage whle the 145/6 uses cables

However a gearbox rebuild should not be too difficult and I suspect any half decent Alfa specialist can supply 2nd hand parts relatively easily (depending on what has gone).
