Hi
is it the real "p4" recaro interior or "just" a late series 3 '94 alcantara interior?
and where in Belgium are you? if it's genuine P4 I'm interested... _________________ straightening curves, flattening hills... |

Gvr
How do you go about getting Recaro's recovered??
I have a set but they need recovering.
Please let me know how difficult it is to do? Thanks... _________________ Hugh B

Hi
Should be easy to find a local uphosterer to do the seats. There is one near me. As Recaro seats are fairly commonly used in different makes of car I would hope they have experience of doing them
All the best

Hi
I can asure you this was no cheap job to do.
My parents are in the furniture business so i've got reduction but still it was a pain when i received the bill
The leather jused is original recaro by the way
I don't know how expensive it is in your country but here it was a pain _________________ Alfa romeo 33Q4 |

Hi
It will not be cheap. The material is expensive (think Alfa want around £60 a square metre for the seat material, and Maserati want around £100 a square meter for the Alcantara used in their seats). One of the more well known upholsterers would probably want the worst side of £500 to recover your seats, let alone the door cards as well
Your best bet is to hunt around locally. It cost me £40 to get a motorcycle seat recovered properly (not just a cheap cover) by a local guy who does it in his garage
All the best

Hi
Exactly. 350 Euro is probably quite cheap compared to the cost of getting an existing interior recovered professionally (and also means you dont have your car sitting with no seats in it for a week or 2)
All the best

Well i don't want to jump the boat and get some seats if i have no car for it to go in to. So all i need is to find a car, then i can think about getting some better seats for it. But i will deafenatly keep these in mind.
Many thanks
