Received this yesterday: Hi Paul,it's Dave who bought the champagne 33 off you last year.(carb model). I was wondering if you knew of any alfa enthusiast who would be interested in purchasing any of my 33s, because I have to downsize my collection,due to the landlord from whom I rent the land from being pressured by the local authority. I have got 4 33s for sale (reluctantly)which i have listed on ebay today.I have got one 16v one permanent 4 and two 8 v ie, one of which is left hand drive.All the cars need a bit of TLC in one way or another.I do not want to break the cars or take them to a breakers, i would prefer them to go to a good home and be put back on the road. I think I recognise the series 2 from Alfa aid when they were based at old windsor, the chap used it as a hillclimb car, good to see its still in one piece but it had quite a bit of rust back then, 12yrs ago at least!. Thats if its the same one but the rear wing was very distictive, and I think it suits it quite well.

He also has a tidy gold s2 on a G reg which has previosly been owned by myself and then Paul. If that is 1 of the ones for sale it would be worth saving. I know Paul did lots of work to it last year.

Ah! Yes now you say it I think I saw that once at Alfa Aid too, before the decals.... is that a sunroof? or a decal?
I remember a conversation with Adrian about why, ahem... the fella used a 'sunroof car' in the first place 
I was into 155 back then. I poured plenty into my 155 widey and look - that 33 outlived it  |
